Place & glue on adapter
Clean the surface and remove the protective film from the adhesive ring on the back. Place the adapter on the wall and fill the adapter with adhesive.

Simply attach
The adhesive should harden for 12 hours. You can then simply attach your bathroom design to the adapter.

Easy to remove
First unscrew the bath design from the adapter. Now grip the adapter ring with a pipe wrench and simply twist it carefully clockwise from the wall.

The combination between the Tesa Sugru® Powerstrip and polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) will not form a stable compound and won´t hold.

The adhesive will stick to your wallpaper until the bitter end. Unfortunately, it might separate from the wall during adhering.

Step by step to the towel bar in the bathroom

Below you will find important information on how to stick your towel bar. In addition, each pack of the Tesa Sugru® Power.Kit Technology Series contains richly illustrated instructions.

  1. Select the place where you want to attach your new towel bar. 
  2. For the Tesa Sugru® adhesive to stick to the tile, the surface must be free of dust, grease, limescale and other residues. Use a clean, soft cloth for basic cleaning. Please do not use any non-stick cleaning agents or cleaners containing silicone, as these substances impair the adhesive effect. After basic cleaning, clean with rubbing alcohol. If a cleaning cloth is included with your accessory, please use it.
  3. Take the adapter ring out of the package and remove the foil from the adhesive surface on the back.
  4. Place the adapter ring in the desired position and press it firmly against the tile. 
  5. Now everything is ready and the Tesa Sugru® Power.Kit technology can be used.
  6. Open the tube with the tube spanner and insert the opening into the larger hole in the adapter ring.
  7. Press the adhesive into the adapter with the spanner until some adhesive comes out on the smaller opening of the adapter.
  8. Now the back of the adapter is completely filled with glue and creates a secure connection with the tile surface.
  9. At this point you need patience. The adhesive must cure for twelve hours. Do not touch the adapter during this time and do not check the strength under any circumstances.
  10. After the waiting time, simply place your towel bar on the adapter and tighten the screw with an Allen key.

 

Done! Now your towel bar is ready for use and fully loadable.
